ALUMNI ASSOCIATION

The Alumni Association of The British School, Rio de Janeiro is a non-profit organisation founded in March 2002 by former students of the school and established with the support of The British School, Rio de Janeiro. The Association is composed of all those who graduated from or once attended The British School, Rio de Janeiro.

OUR MISSION

“To maintain and elevate the pride and prestige of being a British School alumnus and to promote the integration, socialisation and interaction between its members and The British School.”

The Association

The Association is currently led by the following active members: Eduardo Muniz’1993, Antonio (Bindi) Souza’1994, Adriana Nogueira de Andrade’1994, Carlos Eduardo Spertini’1994, Marcelo Sá’1996, supported by the Admissions, Communications & Marketing Department at The British School. Any former student who is willing to participate can be eligible to be part of the Executive Committee and help us build on this incredible organisation. All work is done on a volunteer basis and any help is always welcome!

TAABS has been working really hard to bring all British School alumni together under the same flag of pride and friendship. As a result of our effort, we have managed to organize happy hours, sports encounters, class get-togethers, 10 Year Reunions, 20 Year Reunions, being present at school events, such as the Founder’s Week, Festa Junina and International Festival.

All of this has helped us create an active network which has supported many members not only to keep in touch with school friends all over the world, but also to interact in professional and academic opportunities.
