Tev Marçal Barros’88 sends us news!

Tev Marçal Barros’88 was a student at The British School, Rio de Janeiro from 1974 to 1981. He would have graduated in 1988 in the same class as Paulo Penido, as he recalls.

He left the school in 1981 and the family soon moved to the USA (Reston, Virginia). He graduated from South Lakes High School in 1988 and then moved on to James Madison University (Harrisonburg, VA), where he got his B.S. in Biology in 1994.

After that, Tev worked for the USDA in Beltsville, MD, doing insect pheromone research; then graduated from Virginia Tech in 2001 with a DVM in Veterinary Medicine.

He is now a veterinarian. In his own words: “Apart from the medicine aspect, I really enjoy the surgical aspect. I do both soft tissue and orthopaedics.”

The British School family is really proud of your achievements and thank you for keeping in touch!
