SAD NOTE It is with great sadness that we inform that Desmond F.P. Cole, former Headmaster of The British School, Rio de Janeiro, in the 1960s, passed away on January 6, 2008 at age 84. According to his son, Peter Cole, Mr. Cole died peacefully after a long illness, with his family and his faithful beagle at his bedside. Our sincere condolences to the Cole family and our many thanks to Mr Cole for his services rendered to The British School.
