This was an IB creative arts project based on the Japanese Bunraku puppet theatre tradition. Students from IB Visual Arts, Theatre Arts an Music worked together on the project. The Visual Arts students designed and made the puppets, the Theatre Arts students wrote the script and directed the performance and the Music Students composed and performed the music. The final piece was performed to an audience of parents and invited guests.

The mosaic was made to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the British School.
The photographs show the students working on their individual panels, some finished pieces and the mosaic being assembled on the wall.
The mosaic was officially unveiled on the 6th October by the chair of governors, Steve Rimmer

Students collected ‘found objects’ and created sculptures. To help develop their work they looked at other artists who have created art work from found objects such as Picasso and Duchamp.
