TEACHING & LEARNING

Educational Programme

Through our educational programme and teaching methods, we aim to cultivate creative, principled, and internationally-minded young people who possess a breadth of knowledge, skills and understanding in preparation for today’s and tomorrow’s world.

Our aim is to develop innovative learners who value personal, collaborative and intellectual challenge. An emphasis on academic achievement is balanced by our concern to develop our students’ physical, emotional and social needs, preparing them to be positive, caring and resilient young people.

Our academic curricula from Pre-Nursery through to the IB Diploma, together with the Brazilian Curriculum, have been chosen to provide a relevant and challenging educational experience. Historically, TBS has maintained an essentially British ethos, with appropriate international and Brazilian elements to our programmes.
